Capleton is widely recognised as a standout reggae export having worked with the likes of US rap stars Method Man and Q-Tip. The release of his massive hit “Tour” acted as a pivotal movement in a career that has spanned two decades.
I Octane has established himself as one of reggae’s newest icons with a reputation of compassion that continues to soar. His album ‘Crying To The Nation’ puts I-Octane in a class of his own as one of the next generation’s leaders of the conscious dancehall movement. Following in a similar vein of his predecessors Sizzla, Capleton and Buju Banton, his lyrics express sentiments of faith, romance, social justice and compassion for the ‘ghetto youth’.
A standout graduate from dancehall’s new school of global stars, Khago has dropped club favourites such as “Tun up di ting” and “Nah Sell Out” and is set for his biggest year yet in 2012.
